The best Coffee from Island of Hawaii

Hawaii has one of the finest coffee. My favorites are Royal Kona toasted and Kona Mocha Macnut. These are the best coffee because it has an original flavor to it that you can't find anywhere. Anything made in Hawaii is ONOLICIOUS.......

A Kona Coffee Story

Kona Coffee has been grown on the dark volcanic lava rock slopes of Kona, on the west coast of the Big Island of Hawaii since in the early 1800s. Under federal and state regulations as well as federal trademark, only coffee grown here may be called Kona. In Hawaii, coffee labeled "Kona Blend" may by law contain as little as 10% real Kona coffee. When you drink a cup of Kona Coffee, you are drinking a coffee that comprises only 1% of all the coffee grown in the world. Kona coffee was first planted in 1829 and has continued to thrive. Many of the trees are over 100 years old. Most of the 680 or so farms are less than four acres, although there are also a few huge estates. Due to the island's isolation and the state's strict import restrictions on agricultural products, minimal pest control is required. As a result no pesticides are used, nor may they legally be used. With a rainy growing season and a cool dry harvesting season, the region is particularly well suited to coffee production.
